Great first episode!  Stephen Hawking’s answer to the question, “Did God create the universe?”, is no.  A remarkable answer when you consider it was given on an American cable station during prime time.  The follow up conversation was ok, when Sean Carroll was speaking.  He live-blogged it, so you should check it out.  It would have been nice for him to have gotten more time for his answers on the actual program.  Davies was alright, but mostly accommodating in his answers.  Haught was nebulous and vague, especially when trying to explain why science can’t speak on “hope”.  Try to catch this episode when you can.  You won’t regret it!
